Why Full-Face Toxins are the Key to a Refreshed Look

Achieving a naturally refreshed appearance often starts with focusing on the upper face—smoothing out lines and wrinkles caused by squints and scowls.

However, enhancing the lower face with Botox or Dysport can be just as transformative. Full-face toxin treatments are designed to create a cohesive, youthful look from top to bottom.

Here’s why addressing both the upper and lower face together can result in the most natural and refined outcome.

Focusing solely on the upper face can leave your overall look feeling incomplete. While a smoother forehead and softer scowl lines help, an untreated lower face can still show signs of aging like drooping, dimpling, or loss of contour. A comprehensive approach ensures every part of your face works together seamlessly for a cohesive result.

Lower face treatments with Botox or Dysport can address concerns like:

  • Dimpled Chin: Softening the “orange peel” texture for a smoother appearance.
  • Drooping Jawline: Relaxing the neck muscles (platysmal bands) that pull the face downward, giving your cheek muscles a chance to help lift the jowls.
  • Fine Lines Around the Mouth: Reducing smoker’s lines and other creases that can age your smile.

The muscles in the lower face, especially the platysmal bands, can create a downward pull that makes the jawline and lower face look less defined over time. Botox or Dysport relaxes these muscles, allowing the cheeks to naturally lift and redefine the lower face. This treatment is often called the “Nefertiti Lift” for its ability to elongate and refine the neck and jawline area, similar to the regal elegance of the ancient Egyptian queen.

By treating the upper and lower face together, you create a refined, unified appearance. Upper face toxins focus on reducing lines and wrinkles from expressions like squinting and frowning, while lower face toxins smooth and lift areas prone to sagging. Together, these treatments help to maintain a fresh, youthful look that’s subtle and natural.

Who Benefits from Full-Face Treatments?

  • Individuals in their 40s, 50s, or beyond looking to maintain a youthful appearance.
  • Those noticing early signs of aging in the lower face.
  • People curious about non-surgical options to improve their jawline and chin area.
