Sculptra Aesthetic is a new type of facial injectable made from poly-L-lactic acid, which corrects shallow to deep facial wrinkles and folds that appear with aging by replacing lost collagen. The main ingredient is a biocompatible, biodegradable synthetic material that has been used by physicians for decades in absorbable stitches and as an injectable since 1999. Are there any side effects?

Typically there are no side effects. Occasionally a small amount of redness or tiny bruise which will resolve quickly. There is a small amount of swelling where injection was administered and this disappears within 15-30 minutes after treatment. Rarely clients have a minor headache or achy feeling for 24 hours or less. You may go about your regular activity after treatment except facials, massage, and standing on your head after treatment.

Sophia Dominguez is a cheerful and detail-oriented Front Desk Clinical Coordinator who brings warmth and efficiency to every patient interaction. Currently pursuing her degree at Florida Gulf Coast University, she combines strong organizational skills with a genuine passion for customer service. Her background in data entry and hospitality allows her to manage scheduling, patient communication, and front desk operations with accuracy and professionalism. Sophia’s positive attitude and team-first mindset help create a welcoming, seamless experience for both patients and staff.

Jordan is another Naples, Florida homegrown! She comes to us with over 8 years of experience, previously specializing in vascular care. Jordan is also a busy mom of THREE boys, who finds her role of MOM as a source of inspiration and joy that fuels her commitment to making a positive impact professionally.

Sharon is originally from the Boston area and has lived in Southwest Florida for over 20 years. Sharon came to us with 20 plus years of management and customer service experience. After staying at home to raise her twins for seven years she was excited to get back to work joining D-Lux Medspa in 2017. when she’s not working she enjoys cooking, gardening and has a passion for all things organization! Sharon and her husband Wayde also enjoy fishing trips, going diving with there children Carly and Chase or just going for a walk with their dog Ginger.

Alexis is a Naples Florida native who graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2019. Alexis brings her organizational skills along with her experience in the field of aesthetic management. When she’s not busy getting things ship-shape at DLux, you’ll find her soaking up the sun at the beach, enjoying boat trips, traveling and spending quality time with her adorable son Landon and two furry companions, Beau and Riley.

Nichole moved to SouthWest Florida 10 years ago after residing in Albuquerque New Mexico for most of her life. She met Dana not long after her arrival and they have been fast friends ever since. With a background in sales and graphic design Nichole brings her passion for delivering impeccable customer/patient service to her role at Dlux Medspa. When she’s not at the office she enjoys cooking (ask her about her old food blog!), being “artsy” and helping curate the Dlux Instagram accounts. She tries to avoid exercise at any cost, but somehow manages to get a work out in every once in a while, even if it is against her will.
