Sciton ProFractional

Profractional therapy uses laser to create little tiny channels in a fraction of the skin. Profractional stimulates new collagen, improves overall texture, softens fine lines and wrinkles and helps improve the appearance of scars. The procedure can be tailored to your specific skin conditions and desired outcome.ProFractional uses a tiny laser beam to treat thousands of pinpoint areas of your skin. Because only a fraction of your skin is directly treated with the laser, the surrounding untreated tissue promotes rapid healing. This skin’s wound healing response creates new collagen which add firmness and resilience to the skin.

D-Lux Signature Laser Treatment

Benefits

Two Laser Treatmens in One

Halo provides deep dermal non-ablative rejuvenation (stimulating collagen and targeting deep sun damage), while the ablative (surface level) fractional resurfacing targets uneven skin tone, texture, fine lines and pigment.

Long Lasting

Your Halo results can last for years to come, as long as you continue to keep your healthy new skin protected at all times. Remember, HALO is just one aspect of a well-rounded skin regime.

Minimal Pain & Recovery

We will apply a topical numbing cream about a half an hour before treatment, so you will feel minimal discomfort during the treatment.

See Results in 5-7 Days

Depending on the treatment healing can take from 5-7 days, and continues to improve thereafter. It’s the gift that keeps on giving!

Most skin areas can be treated. Popular treatment areas are the face and neck, though many people also treat the chest and hands. You should discuss your needs with your physician.

ProFractional therapy is widely regarded as a comfortable procedure, usually tolerated with the use of a topical numbing cream or a local anesthetic, depending on the depth of treatment.

Excellent results can be obtained in just one treatment, though the number of treatments may vary from patient to patient. Your physician can personalize a plan based on your specific needs and may choose to combine ProFractional Therapy with other aesthetic procedures to further personalize your treatment.

Complete healing typically occurs within a few days and most patients usually feel comfortable enough to get back to work and apply makeup a day or two after the treatment. There will likely be some swelling that will subside within several days following the treatment.

For the first 24- 48 hours, you will see some swelling, and you should keep your skin protected according to our instructions. Your face will begin to peel after 24 hours and look and feel a lot like sandpaper. You can wear makeup and carry on with your normal activities during this time, but keep in mind that during the healing process you won’t be looking picture-perfect yet. Depending on the treatment healing can take from 5-7 days, and continues to improve thereafter. It’s the gift that keeps on giving.

Are there any side effects?

Immediately following the procedure you may experience mild redness and a sensation resembling sunburn. We will advise you on specific after-treatment care recommendations, which may include analgesics and application of an ointment to keep the skin moist.

Results

As your skin heals in the days following your treatment, you may notice a general tightening effect. However, the true benefit of ProFractional is the collagen remodeling that occurs during the 4 to 6 months following your treatment.
