BBL or Halo: Which is Right for You?

When it comes to rejuvenating your skin and combating the signs of aging, choosing the right treatment can be overwhelming. We offer two laser treatments: BBL (BroadBand Light) and Halo. Both are exceptional in their own right, but which one is right for you?

What is BBL?

BBL, or BroadBand Light, is a light-based laser treatment that is perfect for addressing various skin issues such as age spots, discoloration, spider veins, and rosacea.

This treatment is specifically designed to target browns (like age spots and sun spots) and reds (such as broken capillaries), all while building collagen with no downtime.

How does BBL Work?

BBL uses strong light pulses to target melanin (pigmentation) and hemoglobin (in blood vessels), reducing unwanted pigmentation and visible veins. The light also heats the skin, boosting collagen production to improve firmness and elasticity.

What sets BBL apart is its ability to use a broader range of light wavelengths, making it versatile for various skin issues. This gentle heating stimulates skin cells to regenerate, improving skin appearance and promoting a youthful complexion over time.

While BBL is an excellent treatment for many, it is not recommended for all skin types. Those with darker skin tones may be at risk of hyperpigmentation or other adverse reactions. It’s essential to consult with our certified laser experts to determine if BBL is suitable for your skin.

What is Halo?

Halo is a special laser treatment that uses two types of light to treat the skin. One type of light removes tiny parts of the outer skin, while the other goes deeper to boost collagen production.

This approach targets both the surface and deeper layers, reducing wrinkles, shrinking pores, and improving skin tone and texture. Unlike BBL, Halo is suitable for all skin types, making it a more versatile option.

How Does Halo Work?

Halo’s technology uses controlled energy to target both the outer and deeper layers of the skin. One type of laser removes damaged skin on the surface, while another heats the tissue below, boosting collagen production and promoting long-term skin health.

This dual approach, known as a hybrid fractional laser, makes Halo effective for treating various skin issues, from surface spots to deeper wrinkles and scars. The treatment triggers the body’s natural healing process, resulting in comprehensive skin rejuvenation.

Unlike BBL, Halo does require approximately 4-7 days of downtime. During this period, you may experience redness and peeling as your skin heals and regenerates. While this may be a drawback for some, the results are often worth the short recovery time.

For those looking to maximize their results, we offer a combination treatment that brings together the benefits of both BBL and Halo. This super hybrid, supercharged treatment is tailored specifically to your skin’s needs, providing comprehensive rejuvenation. Combining these treatments can address a wide range of skin concerns in a single session, offering enhanced results and greater convenience.

Which Treatment is Right for You?

Choosing between BBL and Halo depends on your skin concerns and lifestyle. If you prefer no downtime and need to address pigmentation, BBL might be ideal. For reducing wrinkles, minimizing pores, and improving skin texture with a few days of downtime, Halo could be better.

The best way to determine the right treatment is through a consultation with our certified laser experts. Our team will assess your skin, discuss your concerns, and recommend the most effective plan. They will also explain what to expect before, during, and after the procedure.

Whether you choose BBL or Halo, both treatments offer impressive benefits for youthful, radiant skin. For those seeking the advantages of both, a combined treatment is the ultimate solution. We are committed to helping you look and feel your best with personalized care.
